Born and raised in South Bronx, Music by Z or “MBZ” for short is on the musical come up. “I’m at a point in my career where – I’ve spent so much time in the lab making music that now I’m finally able to step out and show the world what I’ve got,” he quotes. With already two albums and three EP’s available, MBZ is dedicating himself to be a world changer. “All the time I spent teaching myself how to mix, master, engineer, and produce is paying off. I believe it won’t be long before the world knows my name. My music is impactful, and I believe the world will appreciate my art,”-MBZ.
Infatuated with the wolf mentality, MBZ describes himself as nothing short of authentic and humble. “I’m someone who’s been through many tough times and through it all I came out stronger on the other side. I want to lead people to become better. I want to show people there is more to life than fast cars and money,” he states. Inspired by the talents of Michael Jackson, The Weeknd, and Drake, MBZ sound will give you a mix of genres such as Hip Hop, Soul, Rap, and RnB. “I just make Radio Hits. I make classic music, songs that can last forever. I try my best to have a mix of lyricism and melody,” says MBZ.
With the ultimate vision to inspire a generation of people for the better, MBZ continues to set high goals for himself and his musical career. “My main goal is just to be successful in music. I’m hoping that by then I will have a bigger audience and also a bigger budget to truly make the impact I want to make,” he says, “One of my biggest goals is to win a Grammy. It’s what I’ve been working so hard for.
