The Remedy is an upcoming musician from Brooklyn who makes music from the soul. He is at the beginning stages of his career and so far, he has been trying to find his true sound and just having fun with it. For The Remedy, music is a form of therapy and a way to express himself. You could describe his style as a mixture of sound gospel and poetry blend it all in one because he can touch on almost every topic that we go through in this life.
When asked who his musical inspirations are, The Remedy responded “My musical inspiration started from listening to artists like Jay-Z, Eminem, Fabolous, Lil Wayne, Chief Keef, G Herbo and Meek Mill. They inspired my love for hip-hop, but it was recently at the end of my teenage years I started getting into the church and grew fond of the gospel I was inspired by how it helped change not only my life but others that motivated me to start making music because I wanted to minister the people about God.”
As an artist who has only been in the industry for two years, there is no doubt that The Remedy was destined for this. If he could collaborate with any artist in the industry, it would be Nas due to his realness and versatility. So far, The Remedy has released 10 singles and his favorite one is titled “Futsal Shuffle Freestyle” which is a Remix that he did to Lil Uzi‘s original track. This is one of his favorite tracks because the message embodies almost everything that he represents as an artist.
The remedy is currently working on an EP called “Double Minded” that will be released on SoundCloud and YouTube by the end of 2021. This is going to be some of his best work yet so be sure to check it out once it drops. In the meantime, you can listen to his music available on all streaming platforms!!
