TGwap Brings That Heat In His Music

TGwap is a artist from Illinois whose artist name came from him always being on the grinding in the streets.  As an atist who creates Rap and Hip-Hop music, you could describe his sound as catchy and relatable.  TGwap is gearing up to release his project “Bic Gang2,” and you can get to know him below!

How many singles, EPs, or Albums have you released? Which one is your favorite? Why?

I released 6 Ep’s so far and right now they all are my favorite. I’m currently in the midst of putting out my 7th Ep Titled ”1 of 1 Moment In Time ET Gwap”

Where do you draw your inspiration from when you’re working on new music? Personal Experiences, Other Artists/music, Books, etc.

I get my inspirations from everything from experiences from the past now in the present, movies other artists I listen to, and yes sometimes even books I don’t read books a lot though.

Aside from music do you have any side hobbies?

Yes, I play sports and also watch it and I play video games.

What is one song/project that you have released that reminds you of a happy or sad moment in your life?

The project that reminded me of a happy or sad moment in my life was my Ep “1 of 1 Moment In Time” because it was just a cool moment for me because I was able to make a couple of tracks that were a little different from the kind of tracks I normally make. I just wanted to do something different and it worked out well.

 Who is your biggest motivation?

My biggest motivation is myself to be honest. I’m self-motivated, I’m always inspired it be the littlest thing that gives me the most inspiration. For example, I could just drive down the street and just think bout the times when I didn’t have a car or when I had to walk because I didn’t have a car.

If you can pick any show or venue to the headline which it be and why?

Hot 97 Summer jam because their shows are lit and I hope one day I could perform in front of a large audience like that I love challenging myself.

What is the best piece of advice you received? From who?

My brother a few years ago told me to Stay positive focus on getting money and stay out of the negativity because where I’m from it’s not hard to get caught up in the drama/violence that goes on.
