What inspired your artist name?
Jeuse is a nickname I’ve had since middle school. It’s pronounced juice. Kastoan is just a form of my actual last name.
How many singles, EPs, or Albums have you released? Which one is your favorite?
I have released 3 albums so far since 2019 and many singles as well. My favorite album besides my newest mixtape Reflections, Vol. 1 is Dodo II: Say Less. It’s truly all me. I produced it all and crafted it all from the beginning. It’s probably my most personal as well.
If you can pick any show or venue to headline which it be and why?
My goal is to headline a tour in a series of Art galleries. I think that would be dope and bring a new spin to touring
Do you have any mentors, teachers, or people you look up to?
I have musicians I learn from in regards to my art. I look to certain artists for lyricism, certain artists for 2 and producing. They’ve mastered the art and I want to do the same. To name a few I studied Jay-Z, Dr. Dre and Timbaland.
Why should people listen to your music?
It’ll give them a new perspective on life, mental health, and love. More importantly, they’ll see someone who’s going through the struggles they are and trying to make it work.
What are you currently working on?
I’m working on a new music video for let go/forsaken interlude. We’re placing right now before we start shooting
