Lon6z is an artist who is an artist from Dayton, OH, but currently lives in Los Angeles. His genre can change from Hip-Hop, Rap to R&B or whatever he feels in that moment. What inspired your artist name? And where did you get the name from?
Frat brothers gave me the name. Going through my process or whatever, I was the sixth person in Line (You know how black frats work). My frat bruh who stood behind me (my seven) kept calling me Lon6z everyday till I just accepted it. Bout time I fully join the whole campus start calling me Lon6z.
Do you have any other special talents, such as acting, etc.?
Beside making music, I am a certified barber without license, I can still can play basketball professional, I can tumble (flip), make money from the most unimaginable ways.
When did you start doing music? And when did you start taking it seriously? Be as detailed as you’d like.
I been making music since The Clipse grinding music video. I terrorized lunch room table on the daily, breakfast, lunch, dinner, even after basketball practice. I definitely been writing raps since my momma was banging Whodini in the basement. BTW that’s the group that sing Friends & Freaks Come Out At Night. I been taking it serious since I moving to LA. But now it my time.

I know how to make money hella ways. To make money from music is like a athlete from the hood playing in the NBA and making a check. In this is my court! Like Wayne said!!!!
What impact are you looking to make with your music? Who do you want to impact?
I wanna impact the world by believing in themselves. I want people to listen to my music down the line and say this nigga make me believe in my self even when I don’t.
