First, we saw a snippet of “Rumors” on August 1st, 2021, following a second teaser on August 6th, and on the third, Lizzo leaked that Cardi B was going to feature through a facetime she posted on her Instagram story.2019 was the last time Lizzo released a single. Co-collaborating with Cardi B for the first time, they just released “Rumors,” which screams woman empowerment and is the perfect song to shut down their haters. Inspired by Ancient Greece, they transformed into stunning greek goddesses, dressed in gold from head to toe to give us exactly what we didn’t know we needed. Since their roles in the movie “Hustlers,” released in 2019, Lizzo and Cardi have been at the forefront of social media rumors and even hate for being their unapologetic selves.
