Kiko Blac is a Baltimore artist who had big breams from an early age. When she turned 18, she knew it was time and she craved to hustle and make something out of herself. Her sound is a mixture of its calm, hype, and delivers devine energy. She is definitely paving the way for independent artists while perfecting her craft.
When asked in her opinion, what makes her stand out from other artists out there Kiko Blac responded “I’m not coming in over sexualized, or with a hard rapper from the streets persona. I’m the pretty girl, I come with the positive vibes, but don’t get it twisted, a bitch is still from Baltimore so don’t play with me.”
Kiko Blac then goes on to mention when asked what impact she wants to make with her music, “I want to impact anyone who just wants to live free, be themselves unapologetically, and be happy. I want to inspire others to do things for themselves and not just so a lot of people will like them, that’s never the goal. I want to inspire people to do it because its who they are.”
What Kiko Blac enjoys the most about being an artist is love the amount of creative expression that music allows, it’s fun and makes her feel like she’s always in the right place when working. It also requires a lot of travel, that’s something Kiko Blac has always enjoyed. All she has wanted as an artist was to do something that truly made her happy and making music does all of that. Her new track “Sit Down,” produced by Jay Uncut is available now on all streaming services!
