What inspired your artist’s name?
My artist name is family inspired my uncle started calling me smurf when I was young so everybody on my momma side started calling me smurf . a few years down the road when I started making music I was like I like the color blue so I just put two and two together connected the dots and boom here I am.
What is your genre?
I would describe my sound as something that is soothing and good for the soul, funky, melodic, wavey, inspirational.
Aside from music, do you have any hobbies?
Yeah I have my own clothing line called “notyourgear” that I work on with my shawty while I also have an acting manager to help me book auditions so I can book a big gig one day.
If you could collab with any artist in the industry who would it be?
Drake or Chris brown either is cool right now because they’re equally both that nigga.
If you can pick any show or venue to the headline which would it be?
Right now my capacity would be something like rolling loud even though I know there are better places to perform at and for more money rolling loud is a great place to start off at first it was the first legit festival/concert I’d ever been to.
What is a goal that you hope to achieve in the next year?
Music videos and getting big brand names and mainstream artist attention so I can get signed and or start getting big features. It’s all about marketing and that’s the dedication with a cash tag attached to it
