Brittany Hayden, born and raised in Chicago, always had dreams of making a difference and an altruistic persona. Brittany attended Valley State University in Michigan; completing her masters in accounting, which soon led Brittany to start her own consulting business “Hayden Consulting”. Flawless Blends which is a hair and skin care line that came along in 2014 upon Brittany not finding much in options for a stylist and no access to the proper products needed for coarse hair.
Brittany put everything into research and finding vendors that had great quality hair and skin products. As she graduated, working her way up in the corporate world, she sold hair on the side as a hustle. Having the proper hair products was very important to her. Brittany knew she had to expand, and created her own hair care line; providing oils, shampoos, and conditioner. The hair care line blew up! Within months, feedback that was provided was on how great the quality was.
She then found an opportunity at York Town Mall, which is a notorious mall in the suburbs of Chicago, to do a one month pop up back in 2021. The response she received from the public was so epic, it led Brittany to keep Flawless Blends at York Town mall permanently.
Brittany’s goal is to bring back the luxury and pride feeling to women. She now provides robes, bonnets and pajamas to increase the Flawless Blends experience while being home taking care of your hair. Brittany seeing everything come together with such ease, knew she wanted to go bigger, which has now led her to owning a 2,000 square ft salon on the south side of Chicago. Brittany also has a location opening in Texas, May of 2022.
Flawless Blends has really been paving its way through the hair care industry. You can also catch multiple billboards surrounding the city of Chicago of Flawless Blends. Brittany Hayden’s goal is to bring self awareness to African American women by letting them know there’s no limit upon how beautiful you really are.
