It looks like the saga of “Power” franchise will continue as Starz has ordered as second season of the first “Power” spinoff #PowerBookIIGhost. According to @deadline, the spinoff series accumulated nearly 7.5 million multi-platform views in its premiere week, which made it the most-watched new series in the network’s history. The series also broke records on the Starz app as following its premiere weekend as the subscriber acquisition rose up by 42%.Christina Davis, President of Programming at Starz said, “The success of Ghost right out of the gate is a tribute to the quality of Courtney’s storytelling, the strength of the Power franchise and the loyalty of our incredible fans. What Courtney, Curtis and their team have accomplished in creating the Power Universe is nothing short of extraordinary.
