On Wednesday, July 14, Metro Boomin and 21 Savage have released the official music video for “Brand New Draco,” a standout song from the 2020 joint album ‘Savage Mode II.’
Directed by Leff, the music video starts on Wall Street right before the stock market implodes with Metro Boomin and 21 Savage dodging a financial crisis through $DRCO stocks and bonds, which, they assure, will lead investors to financial freedom. The video features a series of parodic infomercials for the business with cameos from DJ Khaled, Bow Wow, Shaq, and more, giving short testimonials promoting 21 Savage and Metro Boomin’s brand new $DRCO stock on TV.
In October 2020, Metro Boomin and 21 Savage reunited for the second album ‘Savage Mode II‘ of their wildly popular sequel ‘Savage Mode,’ which started with its first eponymous album back in 2016. The artists teased the ‘Savage Mode II’ release announcement with a trailer narrated by Morgan Freeman. The album contained 15 songs, including star collaborations with Drake, Young Thug, and Young Nudy.
