New York born and raised artist HULKSICKO! is now living in Los Angeles to focus on his career. He has been making music since 2017 but is excited to see what opportunities the new year and his new city will bring him! Here’s a quick recap from our interview with him!
Q: Who is your biggest motivation?
A: My mom and siblings. I can’t wait to be able to give them the life they deserve.
Q: Who are some artists that you look up to?
A: Hotboii, Lil Baby and NoCap
Q: Why music?
A: I chose music cause it allowed me to say stuff, I didn’t necessarily know how to voice mostly because I didn’t have anyone to talk to about it. Same way when I was young and angry, I would listen to music to help get me out of certain moods. It didn’t always work and sometimes the lyrics in the songs made it worse but that’s how I knew music was impactful.
Q: What are you currently working on?
A: Right now I’ve been working on a lot of video content and adjusting to my life on a different coast.
Q: What is one of your goals as an artist?
A: I want to perform in China one day. I love the culture and people. I had planned on doing this before as well as moving to Shenzhen, China but covid changed those plans.
