- “Bouncin’ Back” (2001) – Mystikal: Known as the James Brown of rap, once you hear his voice you’ll totally understand why he is called that. Mystikal’s “Bouncin’ Back,” was so unique because of its New Orleans twang. Produced by the Neptunes, it was a single from Mystikal’s fifth album “Tarantula.” When it was released, it peaked to 37 on the Billboard Hot 100.
- “Devil’s Whisper” (2015) – Raury: A poetic tale about the ominous predation of a relationship with the devil. It’s haunting and addictive. This single was from Raury’s debut album “All We Need” and was featured in the X-Men film “Logan” (2017).
- “Patiently Waiting” (2003) – 50 Cent ft Eminem: Before you saw him on HBO’s Power, 50 Cent achieved great success with his album “Get Rich or Die Tryin’.” After getting injured during a shooting, 50 Cent was blackballed in the industry and had trouble getting signed to a label until he met with Dr. Dre and Eminem. At the end of 2003, the album sold 12 million copies worldwide.
