Newark is set to become the center of attention in the fashion world this September as celebrity stylist and fashion publicist Dorian Jihad teams up with reality TV star Tavii Babii for one of the season’s most anticipated events. The Newark Fashion Show, part of Newark Fashion Week, will take place on September 15, 2025, at Allure Lounge. Doors open at 7 p.m., with the runway show scheduled to begin at 7:30.
The evening promises more than just style. Guests can expect an immersive cultural experience, featuring runway presentations from both emerging and established designers. More than 300 industry insiders, influencers, celebrities, and members of the press are expected to attend. The event will also feature red carpet arrivals, live performances, and an exclusive after-party.
“Newark deserves a seat at the global fashion table,” says Jihad, whose styling credits include viral looks for Onijah Robinson and moments highlighted on The Shade Room and Hollywood Unlocked. “This show is about more than fashion. It’s about creating a cultural shift.”
Tavii Babii, one of the standout personalities from Baddies Africa, will headline the night, bringing her signature boldness and growing entertainment influence to the Newark runway stage. With Jihad’s creative vision and Tavii’s rising stardom, the show is expected to blend glamour, attitude, and high fashion in a way that cements Newark’s place on the international fashion map.
