Meet M.E. (Most Elevated), the rapper is just the latest in a legendary line of east L.A artists bursting onto the scene. M.E. is an artist that tries to stay true to themselves at all times and that is even reflected in the name. Stating that, “The inspiration behind my name comes from wanting to feed the subconscious mind and remind one’s self to stay true to the most high version of self.” And M.E. also expects that from her “listeners”, saying that, “I’d like to call them the “listeners”. I would tell my listeners to stay true to
themselves.”
Being someone who sees themselves as not just a musician, but as an artist, M.E. tries to stray away from just creating one type of sound. M.E. says about her style, “My style is to just create an energy that others can vibe with, and I can execute my most authentic self in the process…”
With an already impressive resume, M.E. is looking to bolster that even more with a huge 2022. With her announcing her latest project, “Work n Progress” dropping some time around July 2022.
When asked whether she was independent or signed to a label, she simply responded with, “Independent, it’s just M.E.”
