The new artist Lady El’egance wants YOU to listen to her unique voice, and here’s why you should…
Lady Elegance not only does all genres but describes her music as R&B/Neo-soul type, as well as having soulful gospel additions. The Florida native already has six singles out, such as “I am Queen,” “God’s Love,” and “It’s a vibe.” At the same time, she is a singer/songwriter and writes most of her music alongside her two producers, Willie Blackmon and House of bars and CTown with Wamm Studios.
While her original name was Lady ENT standing for Elegance of natural talents, the artist later decided to drop the NT and change it to Lady Elegance. Even though she has been in the music industry for a year and a half now, Lady has been writing music since she was fifteen, grabbing inspiration from musical icons Whitney Houston and Missy Elliot.
Regarding her musical career, she has been part of talent shows and choirs and even made it to America’s Got Talent but didn’t make it to the final round with the audition with the judges. Currently, she was able to work with a videographer to create a music video for “I Am Queen.” However, Lady Elegance didn’t always have a smooth journey.
“Starting this from the ground up has been tough, but with each project, the finishing of each has been worth it. There are still obstacles I am overcoming. Learning everything on my own is a lot of hard work and notes to take,” she said.
Currently, the artist is independent and plans to stay independent because “she doesn’t want anyone changing her style.” Meanwhile, Lady Elegance wants to see herself in five years performing her music all over the world and doing motivational events. She says, ”It’s more than just the music to me. My main thing is motivating others to let them know; that yes, it gets hard but never to give up because you don’t see what God is preparing you for. It may not make sense now, but he will show you why you had to go through so much to get to where you’re trying to go.”
She is also working on a poetry book called “Don’t be in a box,” as she spends most of her free time reading, and she can even rhyme from time to time. She believes that when it comes to being authentic, one must have a big imagination and try to find a favorable situation when everything else seems like something else.
As for her fans and her public, she had a message to share, “Don’t allow anyone to tear you down and let you give up on your dreams. Remember why you do what you do. Pray, meditate, and go into every situation with a positive mindset. What is meant to be will be,” she said.
