Now living out of California, upcoming artist King Kold is determined to take the industry by storm. Originally born in Anaheim, California, King Kold lived in and out of Philly during his adolescence. Now that King Kold has returned to his home state, he is ready to accomplish his personal goal of growing as an artist with each upcoming song. He explains that he has only started his journey in the music industry, but he has big plans and big dreams to be on top of the music world.
King Kold adopted his name from his childhood experience of watching an anime called Dragon Ball Z. He recounts that “there was a character named King Cold, and the writers built this man up so much. They made him sound like he was the strongest man in the universe, but then another character killed him quickly. I told myself that his name is too cool for him to have died that fast, and that he didn’t deserve it. So flash forward a couple of years when I started rapping and my friends were telling me I needed to pick a name to go by and I figured that it was my opportunity to bring some level of greatness upon it.” King Kold brings justice to the Dragon Ball Z character through his craft!
