R&B artist by the name of J.Anthny shares his musical inspirations and future career goals. Born and raised in LA, bouncing around group homes, J.Anthny found that music helped him get through tough situations. Growing up he didn’t have it easy, but none of that stopped him from pursuing his dream and working to provide for his family and 3 kids. His passion for music is what drives him and puts him in the right mindset. The feeling he experiences in the studio or on stage is an incredible feeling he describes as his first love.
J.Anthny is happy with where he is in his music career, having the privilege of working with some amazing artists such as Blxst who he hopes to be right alongside him being on the same label and seeing the success he’s gotten. One of his biggest highlights was witnessing MyGuyMars when he found out he got a diamond plate on the track “Stronger”. Experiences like these have truly been the best motivation for him. He shares that he still wants to stay focused on his work ethic and put all his efforts into his craft. He enjoys the freedom to create what he wants and show it to the world, with the hope people connect and relate to his music.
J.Anthny sees himself as someone who goes against the grain or not your typical R&B singer. His sound is smooth and perfect for any vibe. “I mean I got that Saturday cleaning up music to radio ready, Y’all late, we gon’ catch y’all up tho!” He wants fans and listeners to be inspired by his emotion and hopes it will continue to be passed on to the next generation of artists.
Currently, J.Anthny has ten singles and two EPs. His favorite project so far is his ep titled “Unexpected” from back in 2019 featuring 6 songs, all produced by Timo Beats. J.Anthny wants people to be on the lookout for his newest single “You Make Me Better”. He shares that he went through a major setback when his laptop was stolen and he lost all his material. Having to start from scratch he pulled it all together in the end and announced the release of “You Make Me Better” dropping on December 9th. He shares that he’s constantly working on making more music but right now he’s focused on promoting his newest single “You Make Me Better”.
